Wayne M. Timura – Principal
Mr. Timura has a unique blend of technical and
business leadership expertise gained from over twenty-five
years of national and international experience in real estate, site
acquisition, facility development, construction management, facility design and
operations.
Some of the positions he held prior to
establishing Next Level Development, Inc. include:
§
Director, Corporate Real
Estate and Development for Quantum Corporation.
Responsibilities included: strategic real estate planning for business
units, location and site selection, acquisition & disposition, real estate
financing, company mergers & acquisitions, and design & construction
of all new major initiatives worldwide.
§
Senior
Manager, European Real Estate and Construction in Geneva, Switzerland, and
Manager, Corporate Facilities Design for Digital Equipment Corporation in
Massachusetts.
§
Construction Manager for Kraft
Foods, a project engineer for two New England consulting engineering
companies, and a site engineer for a general contractor.
Community
and Professional Leadership:
Wayne is on the Board of Directors of the
Colorado Springs Downtown Partnership Inc. and the Colorado College Business and
Community Alliance. He is the
founding chair of the Partnership’s Membership Committee and is a member of
its Development Committee. Wayne is
a vice president with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of CoreNet Global, an
international professional development organization for corporate real estate
executives. He is also a member of
the Greater Colorado Springs Economic Development Corporation.
Wayne was on the
Board of Advisors for the CENTRE i – the Center for Corporate Real Estate
Innovation. He was Vice President
of the Boston Area Chapter of IFMA and was the founding member and chair of the
R&D/Hi-Tech Industry Council. He
was also co-chair of the Public Relations Committee.
Wayne was a founding member and was co-chair of the Design Review Board
for the town of Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
Education
and Licenses:
Wayne
has an MS degree in Engineering and Management and a BS degree in Civil
Engineering from the University of Vermont.
He is a licensed real estate professional and a registered Professional
Engineer.
